Do I have to keep track of what Besty should respond to, versus escalate to a human?

No. Besty is trained like any other human staff member. It knows what it can and cannot do. Instead of having to manually configure scenarios like other AI vendors out there, Besty has an intuition of what it’s capable of, constantly expanding its knowledge to take on more and more detailed questions.

How does Besty learn my brand voice and talk like me?

Besty reads through all your conversations to understand how you interact with your guests. While you’re on draft mode, Besty tracks the edits you make to messages before sending them, then teaches itself accordingly.

Do I have to use draft mode before switching to autopilot?

Not at all. Most of our users will launch autopilot on day one, either on all their listings or a selected few. You can also control the exact response time, whether to respond to all guests, inquiries or current guests, and setup a dynamic auto-responder to keep your response rate as low as possible even if Besty doesn’t know how to respond.

Can I add upload guidebooks or custom SOPs to improve response quality?

Yes, you can do that anytime in your listings page, or our onboarding team can do that for you during the free trial. Besty can automatically upload content from any popular guidebook provider (Touchstay, Hostfully etc).
